Welcome to the Dallas area Liverpool FC web page. The Dallas area group meets to watch all the televised Liverpool matches at The Tipperary Inn which is located in downtown Dallas at the corner of Skillman and Live Oak. The Tipperary is our new home for viewing the matches and we’re all looking forward to a great season in our new home.

The next scheduled Dallas area event will take place on August 16th at 11:30am (CST) when Liverpool travels to Sunderland in the league season opener. The Tipp, as it’s affectionately called, has enthusiastically welcomed us by offering food and drink specials to help kick the season off. Stay tuned to this page for more details on this event as they become available.

Ok no no no… I don’t need some people in trench coats to help scare old women! Come on people! Do you use Adobe Flash and live in the DFW area? Well your in luck things are slowly starting to come together on our very own Dallas FUG or as a few of us like to call it the actionscript mafia. We are having a couple struggles getting things moving so if your interested and/or can help run over to dallasfug.com and see what your missing out on!

Much has been written about Emmitt Smith lately, almost all of it referencing either his Dancing with the Stars triumph or his consistent bludgeoning of the English language in his current gig as an NFL analyst for ESPN.  With regard to the language, he has never been, and never will be, paid to be a scholar of any kind…he played football at the University of Florida, for Pete’s sake.  How many hours do you think he logged in the classroom?  Hey, it could be worse — he could have taken the English language all the way to F.U.B.A.R. territory, like Miss South Carolina did so famously.  If you have not seen it yet, here it is — a little bonus humor for you:
